Enrolling in a new course means making an important decision.

Let’s try to clear up some of the doubts you might have before deciding whether the degree courses offered by the Department of Information Engineering are what you are looking for.

Statistics say yes: the employment rate is above 90% for all degrees in the Information Area (Almalaurea data from the 2017 survey).

Admission to the Bachelor’s degrees of the Department of Information Engineering has a limited number. The number of places available is published each year in the Call for Admissions available at this link https://www.unipd.it/avvisi-ammissione-lauree-triennali-inglese .

In order to apply to a Bachelor’s degree program, you are required a Secondary Studies Diploma or equivalent.

The timetable of the lessons is available on the Student Portal. You will need to select the School of Engineering, the degree course, the year of the course, your study track and indicate the week of your interest

The University of Padua offers to its students several study rooms. The complete list is available at the following link https://www.unipd.it/en/studying-padova/services/study-and-multimedia-facilities. In particular, in our Department you can find the “JE” and the “QE” study rooms.

The “Giovanni Someda” Library is the library of the Department of Information Engineering. At http://biblioingegneriasomeda.cab.unipd.it you can find all the information about the location, the opening hours and how to access it.

 

Professors use the MOODLE platform to share with students all the materials useful for studying their courses and preparing for exams (slides, assignments, etc.). The platform is accessible from the webpage BachecheDEI https://stem.elearning.unipd.it/. To access the study materials, it is necessary to ask the credentials to the professor responsible of the course.

In order to apply to a Master’s degree program, you are required to have a University’s diploma or equivalent.

Students can apply for recognition of exams undertaken in their previous period of studies.

The procedure for requesting the change of curriculum within your degree course is indicated on the following page https://www.unipd.it/cambio-curriculum . The application should be submitted by filling out the form available online. Please note that the form you will have to fill in is the one for engineering degrees.

The Department of Information Engineering has a strong international orientation.

Each year the Department organizes meetings about all the opportunities offered to you.

During the Academic Year, students will receive notifications about calls for admission, meeting dates and deadlines.
